Thank you for considering Lady Bedford's Tea Parlour for your special event. We will do our best to make it a memorable experience and hope you will find the following helpful.
Please allow two hours for your party. If you wish additional time, the added cost will be quoted at time of booking. We have one room that will accommodate parties up to twenty-eight (28) people and an intimate Parlour that seats six (6) comfortably. Our lovely tea rooms are furnished in Victorian style and the tables are set with linens, fine china, silver, and beautiful centerpieces, so additional decorations are not necessary. You may, of course, bring party favors and balloons - please no confetti. Upon prior request we will be happy to provide a gift table. We do not have a liquor license, but would be happy to serve champagne or wine you provide for a $1.00 per person charge.
Selecting your menu ahead of time allows you to focus completely on your guests, enjoy the festivities, and goes a long way toward helping our staff better serve you. We ask that you select from our attached party menu if you are a group of eight (8) or more. Groups smaller than eight (8) may find that choosing from our regular menu fits their event. However, pre-selecting your menu, and 2-3 teas, will give you more time to enjoy your tea experience.
Please call to confirm your reservation a week before your party; we would appreciate your pre-order at that time. We will call you 48 hours prior to confirm the final number of attendees. You will be charged for this number of guests. Should you have a last minute "no show"" we will package their food to-go.
We do require a non-refundable deposit ($25), for parties to hold your reservation. This will be credited towards your final bill. We would prefer a single payment at the end of the party.
If you wish your party to be private (no other quests seated during your event), there will be a $100.00 room rental charge.
Our menu includes dessert and we will be glad to provide a birthday candle when appropriate. Our Chef will make a truly memorable dessert for your special occasion upon request and consultation. If you choose to bring your own cake, there is a cake-cutting fee of $1.00 per person.
