Planning an Adult Tea Party

Thank you for considering Lady Bedford's Tea Parlour for your party. We will do our best to make your event a memorable experience and hope you will find the following helpful.

Please allow two hours for your party. We have one room that will accommodate parties up to twenty-eight (28) and an intimate parlour that seats six (6) comfortably. Our lovely tea rooms are furnished in Victorian style and tables are set with linens, fine china, silver, with floral centerpieces, so additional decorations are not necessary. You may, of course, bring party favors and balloons - please no confetti, feathered boas or crafts. Upon prior request we will be happy to provide a gift table.

For any party of 8 or more we ask that you pre-order by selecting one (1) menu item from the attached Party Planning Contract. Selecting your menu ahead of time allows you to focus completely on your guests, enjoy the festivities, and goes a long way toward helping our staff better serve you.

Please call to confirm the details of your party and the number attending one week prior to your event. We will call you 48 hours prior to confirm the final number of attendees, for which you will be charged.

We require a non-refundable deposit of $50 to hold your reservation. This will be credited towards your final bill. Your reservation is not confirmed until your deposit and contract with menu pre-selection is received by management. A single payment is due at the end of your party.

If you wish your party to be private (no other quests seated in the main dining room during your event), there will be a $200.00 room rental charge.

No outside food or beverage allowed without prior approval of management. We do not have a liquor license, but would be happy to serve champagne or wine you provide for a $2.00 per person cork fee. If you choose to bring your own cake there is a $2.00 per person service charge.

Please call 910-255-0100 or email us at [email protected] if you have any questions.

We look forward to serving you.
